Social Skills

We provide an opportunity for our clients to socialize within the community and in a secured environment by means of community outings and in-house recreational events.

Life Skills

For all of our adults, we offer continued life skills training in the area(s) of personal hygiene, cooking, laundry, money skills, and socialization in a secured environment.

Our Story

Several years ago, Dr. Scott began her career as a special education teacher and started working with high school transition students. During her career, families trusted her to assist their students in providing vocational, life, and social skills training they needed to succeed in adult life once they left the educational setting.  During this time in public education, she realized that there was a significant need for additional facilities for adults with disabilities. After finishing her doctorate, Dr. Scott began the process of opening up a day habilitation facility and Choice Living Community was founded in December 2019.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a day activity center that continues to deliver innovative and individualized programs to advance the achievement and knowledge for adults with disabilities in the areas of vocational, life, and social skills.

Our Vision

Our vision includes a full residential facility that will provide an opportunity for adults with disabilities to live in a supported environment.
